Lace knitting, my own design

Another ongoing project is my own composition of rosebuds et al. It is an extension of the design I made for my lace knitting course. I prefer that at the moment, designing my own patterns while knitting. Maybe it'll appear in my future knitting book?
The yarn is another cone of Zegna Baruffa Cashwool 2/28nm in colour "Combat Green"which is bought from Colourmart.

Knitted lace, my very own design

I've started a new project (I know... but I did finish the latest piece yesterday). Shocking pink (hey 80's! thought I'd never use that colour again)! It's very hot at the moment, if you have missed that. Well, I am ready to take on new challenges and here it is, my very first own knitted lace design.

Night socks for little Annika

If a three and a half years old, lovely little girl, asks you to knit new (pink! of course) socks for her because she has worn the old ones out, there is nothing you can do but surrender. Especially if the question is asked in Stavangersk :-). Here you are Annika, sleep tight! It's my own design :-) Be good to mummy!

What's this? An Estonian highway? No, it's Estonian lace

Lovely, lovely Estonian lace. Knitted in 2/28 nm baby pink CashMerino from Zegna Baruffa/Colourmart. Light as a feather, 32.5g. Bolockd size, before relaxation, about 40cm times 150cm. Much smaller in relaxed condition. This yarn is so soft, I love it! I have ordered in total 6 cones (150g each) so there will be no problem starting new projects as the inspiration hits me, and it usually hits me hard ;-) .

So far I have blocked the scarf with pins at about 10cm distance in between (lengthwise), making it look like there is an edging, but it's all fake :-). Though, was planning to knit an edging until I saw the beauty of this simple lace. Maybe in the future... but there are so many things that have to be finished first (UFOs...).
